- Thinning of hair: Thinning of hair is one of the first indications of hair loss. You can find hair receding on the forehead which is an indicator of hair loss.
- Bald spots: If you find balding spots in some areas of your head, then you should know that you are suffering from hair loss. You may also experience itchiness and pain in the areas where the hair fall may occur.
- The hair on combs and hands: When the hair follicles are loose, you tend to get hair in your hand while combing it or running your hand over it. This is also an indication that you need to get alert on the hair loss.
- Medical treatments: Medical treatments like chemotherapy can cause major hair loss and lead to baldness. However, under these circumstances, the hair grows back.
Patches: If you see red patches, swelling, broken hair, and oozing of fluids, then you are most likely to have got ringworms.
